Shikha Bangar
Lecturer
Shikha Bangar has recently completed her Ph.D. in Quantum Computing from the Department of Physics, University of Tennessee. She works on a unique quantum neural network, a brain-like system designed to work on quantum computers. These quantum neural networks could have many practical uses, such as detecting fraudulent transactions in credit card data; recognizing and interpreting images, with applications in security and digital media; and generating probability distributions, helpful in fields such as finance and medical research; and preparing quantum states, ranging from simpler types (Gaussian states) to more complex ones (non-Gaussian states), which are crucial for advancing quantum computing technologies.
